HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR NUT & SEED BUTTER?
Using only the freshest ingredients and a lot of love, we first blend our nuts and seeds quickly into a fine flour texture. We then use a melanger and stone grind the nuts & seeds for hours until our butter turns into the most delicious creamy liquefied consistency.
THE STONE GROUND DIFFERENCE
- Grinds the natural oils out of the nuts & seeds making it unnecessary to add any oil to our butters.
- Grinding increases the nutrient bio-availability of the nuts & seeds used to make our butter, making it easier for your body to digest and absorb the many beneficial nutrients available.
- Grinds nut and seed particles into teeny tiny particles making out nut & seed butter liquefied creamy goodness.
- Stone grinding never heats the butter in the grinding processes. This is important because the natural oils in the nuts & seeds are very heat sensitive. By stone grinding, we maintain the quality of the nutrient rich oils released when the nuts & seeds are ground into our loved butters.
WHAT MAKES YOUR BUTTER SO SPECIAL?
All butters are artisan inspired by stone grinding for hours crushing all the natural nut & seed oils and goodness out, making it some of the smoothies most luxurious tasting nut and seed butters available. All butters are made with LOVE in small batches with only the freshest most nutritious ingredients. With the addition of HEMP, CHIA, & FLAX as well as a hint of cinnamon and/or organic vanilla and Pink Himalayan sea salt, our butters take the nutritional benefits one step further. Additionally, all butters are stone ground for 8-15 hours, never heated, and do not contain added sugar or oil.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS GLUTEN-FREE & SUGAR-FREE?
Yes, always! We never use sugar or ingredients containing gluten. All of our products are completely guilt free! However, anyone with food allergies please know that our products are made in a kitchen where gluten and sugar based products are. WHY SHOULD I REFRIGERATE IT?
The fresh nuts and seeds that go into making our delicious butters are very high in healthy omega-3 & omega-6 fatty acids making them very sensitive to temperature and light. That isn’t true for just our butters but forall nuts and seeds (even in their whole form). Because we do not add preservatives, additional oils, or sugars it is important to preserve their nutritional value by keeping them in a cool dark place. This makes the fridge a great place for them!
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Our nut and seed butters on average (dependent on the nut and seed fat content) will last up to a year from when they were made. However, their nutrient quality and delicious flavor depend on a few key factors: lid is tightly sealed, stored in the refrigerator, and using only a clean utensil for dipping and serving. All fats, no matter what nut, seed, oils, or butter your eating, can go rancid (not expired, just taste a little off), especially when no preservatives are used.
